Fleeing her husband, a woman and her son escape to a rental house in the mountains. Their peace is broken when a stranger arrives in the middle of the night, startling both of them. The adults find common ground, discover a shared bond, and engage in a night of passion that threatens to shatter the lives of everyone involved.
